FBHP Photo Competition: Sunsets

Our new photo competition takes as its subject Sunsets. To inspire you, here’s what Henry Wadsworth Longfellow had to say:

After a day of cloud and wind and rain
Sometimes the setting sun breaks out again,
And touching all the darksome woods with light,
Smiles on the fields until they laugh and sing,
Then like a ruby from the horizon's ring,
Drops down into the night.

The judges generally favour pictures that are recognisably taken in the Parks. The closing date for entries is 31st May 2013 so there should be opportunities for winter, spring and even early summer sunsets; delicate, subtle sunsets can be just as stunning as the classic Tequila cocktail variety!

Click on the links above for details on how to enter and our terms and conditions. We particularly draw to your attention the fact that, by entering a photo into the competition, you are giving us the right to use it in our calendar, posters, greetings cards etc to help raise awareness and funds for the FBHP and its charitable appeals. We do credit the photographer but we’re not able to pay royalties. If you have any questions please contact carol@dtew.co.uk.

Thank you – and good luck!
