The Friends of Bushy & Home Parks is an association constituted in 1990. We value the rural nature of these two neighbouring royal parks and believe that their landscapes should be protected for future generations.

Photo Competition - The Ponds of Bushy & Home Parks
In this ponds photo competition we've received the largest number of entries for any competition so far and probably the best quality entries too.
It's congratulations again to Stephen Darlington of East Molesey who emerged as clear winner with the fabulous "Rainbow".
In Stephen's own (very modest) words: "One of those right place, right time (with camera) moments. A low afternoon sun, a bit of rain and mother nature provides a wonderful rainbow over Leg of Mutton pond".
Congratulations also to Ian Andrews of Hampton Hill in second place with "Autumn Mirror"
"I make frequent visits throughout the year and was reassured, a year on [from "Strollers taking in the colours"], to see an even brighter colour palette, reminding me of the scenic consistency offered by this section of the park, year on year. The surprising absence, mainly, of people at that time, made it the more relaxing and reflective."
Third place also to Stephen Darlington with "Lush" (Hampton Wick Pond in Home Park).
Thanks to all our entrants for such a fabulous collection of photos.
