Posted 1st February 2010
The Diana Pond had been weeded and the surface has been scraped flat to make a sealed base for the water. Today the rubber bung which has been holding back the water from entering the Diana Pond for the past nine months was removed. The sluice gate opened and the water allowed to flow back into the pond. It will take several days as the pond when full will hold 17 million litres of water. The water will be allowed to settle down before the fish are returned in about February next year.
