The Friends of Bushy & Home Parks is an association constituted in 1990 in response to the growing need to help protect and conserve these historic parks in South-West London

We value the rural nature of these two neighbouring royal parks and believe that their landscapes should be protected so that future generations can enjoy their beauty and tranquillity.

Introduction

Opening Times
Pedestrians: 24hrs except September & November when 8am - 10:30pm.

Permitted vehicles: Opens 6:30am (8am in September and November). Closes dusk/7pm, whichever is later.

Bushy Park measures 1.5km (nearly a mile) from north to south and 3km from east to west. This traditional deer park, with its bracken, rough grassland and plantations, is complemented by formal avenues of lime and chestnut trees. There are ponds, streams and woodland gardens as well as sports pitches and a children's playground.
